In 2023, Kazakhstan's spending on IT services reached $2.4 billion
Finprom.kz reported on March 20 that in 2023, the volume of IT services provided in computer programming, consulting, and related services reached 1.1 trillion tenge ($2.4 billion), reflecting a 41.1% increase compared to the previous year.
During the same period last year, the sector saw a 54.8% increase in services, reaching 777.2 billion tenge ($1.7 billion).
Software development comprised the largest portion, totaling 599 billion tenge ($1.3 billion), marking a 60.3% increase from the previous year.
Consulting and practical services in IT experienced a 2.5-fold increase to 79.2 billion tenge ($175.5 million), while software support services grew by 86.7% to 72 billion tenge ($159.6 million).
